Occupational Therapy is all about optimising independence and participation in daily activities (or “occupations”).
At Kid Link, we explore the needs, strengths and goals of the child. We then work with the child, family, school and other care team members to build a therapy plan that develops skills, accommodates needs, and reduces barriers that may be impacting on the child’s participation.
Kid Link recognises that the challenges faced by neurodivergent community members are often due to living in a predominantly neurotypical world and aims to address these barriers within therapy to improve participation.
